New versions of Octopus are released every month, quite often in fact. But the upgrade process is simple and transparent !

• Every time the application starts, we check for database integrity. That makes sure that the Octopus release you are using is not corrupting your data.

• If your database needs to be upgraded, it will be upgraded automatically in a "one click" process.

We generaly provide the N-1 and N-2 database upgrade.

For example, if you plan to use the new Octopus v1.0.14 release, your current version must be v1.0.12 or v1.0.13. But if you are using v1.0.11 don't worry, you just need to install v1.0.12 first, and then you can upgrade to v1.0.14.
